About Suzanne Stark Fine Art Portraits

Self - Painted portrait of smiling woman, hand on chin, artist Suzanne Stark

What's my story?

As a mother and grandmother, I know how important our stories are, and we need a way to express those stories in vibrant, compelling, beautiful ways.

I am a storyteller - onstage as an actress, as a singer, as a creator of music and photography and fine art. Being able to help you tell your stories is what gives me joy!

Based in Indiana, my work can be seen across the United States - so don't let location stop you from reaching out!

What if I told you, you can make time stand still?

What if children had a way to know without a shadow of a doubt that they are loved?

The older we get, the more we understand that the days are long but the years are short.

As a mother and grandmother, I can attest that this is true. When you are living the moment, you can't grasp it because that moment is immediately gone - on to the next moment, and then the next.

But the art of photography can allow us to relive that one precious moment. Again and again.

We don't remember days, we remember moments.

Whether with a dear grandparent who is gone, a best friend who has brought constancy to your life, a child growing up far too fast for words, or even a fur baby who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, you'll remember in the most profound and beautiful way how they enriched your life, and you, their's, in artwork that speaks volumes.

Did you grow up in a home with pictures lining the walls? Going up the stairs? Stuck to the fridge with magnets?

Did you grow up in a home with pictures lining the walls? Going up the stairs? Stuck to the fridge with magnets?

If you did, you understand how that made you feel to know you and your crayon drawings were treasured enough to be on display for everyone to see.

Evidence says that seeing the faces of those we love every day boosts our energy and confidence and our happiness quotient.

When you fill your home with photographic art work that reflects your life, you can see the evidence of the love that you have shared - and how your life has made a difference in the lives of those you love.

When we see our portraits on the walls of our home,  we know we are loved.

We will draw on that certainty on the days that are hard. And celebrate that knowledge in the moments that are good.

What if you could see the future? And your heirs could see the past?

What if you could see the future? And your heirs could see the past?

Imagine looking into the future and seeing yourself or your child as an adult, a person who grew up in a home knowing they were an important part of the household. They know because they saw the importance of their life on the walls of their home.

Imagine looking into the future and seeing yourself or your child as an adult, a person who grew up in a home knowing they were an important part of the household. They know because they saw the importance of their life on the walls of their home.

They were surrounded by evidence of love.

Future You is looking at the photographs from long ago. The ones you made today. Future You is looking right at the evidence of love, the art that illustrates the truth that what you did mattered. And Future You is Remembering.

With art you commission today, you will always have a way to gaze at the faces of those you love who are no longer with you. You can bring back to life the moment the photograph was captured from years before and keep the memory of it from fading.

A time machine for the ages. And the ones who come after you will always be able to ride it to the past!

It doesn't matter if you are living in a house of many, or living a life of solitary completeness, you matter.  You have made a difference in the world. Celebrate yourself and your life in art.
